Successfully Moving Youth to Work Program

What is it?

Baltimore Housing's Successfully Moving Youth to Work program is a partnership with the Mayor's Office of Employment Development and multiple workforce partners. The program offers intensive year round workforce development services to youth ages 16 -21 with career specific and/or employment preparation skills leading to certification and employment. The program also includes post testing, job placement, evaluation, job retention and follow-up activities.

Who is eligible?

Program services are open to youth ages 16 - 21 living in Baltimore City.

What are the benefits?

The program provides young people with customized training opportunities leading to employment.

How much does it cost?

Services are free to qualified applicants.
